A more flexible stock rule
The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs. Relaxed Spider on fxrfjxc.com permits stock deals while columns are empty. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls.
Deal into empty columns
Keep these points in mind. A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together. The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves.
Read the opening
The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals. The opening tableau contains 54 cards. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five.
Descending rank placement
The following details apply here. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher.
Move a group
A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together.
Use empty columns thoughtfully
The following details apply here. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column.
Bring in another row
The following details apply here. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations. Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination.
Clear the table
Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider. A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column.
Try another decision
New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting. Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win.
Resume locally
The following details apply here. Each relaxed suit setting has its own current local game. My Statistics displays relaxed starts and wins in separate rows. Relaxed Spider keeps its saved games separate from standard Spider when saving is enabled. Privacy & Cookie Settings lets you turn saving off or clear local records.
